Contingent Election was a political conflict between the Players, the Judicial Congress, and the President of the SMP and RiceMaster_ that began at 7:00 PM March 5th, 2022, when both presidential candidates tied in the election. The conflict ended at 8:27 PM on March 5th, 2022. It became the third major and shortest conflict on the SMP.
The conflict began when the presidential election result was inconclusive due to both candidates (BBLB_YT vs. RiceMaster_) being tied. This conflict affected the results of the Jury election.

At 7:00 PM, the polls close for the March Elections.
At 7:14 PM, it is announced that the presidential election results were inconclusive, because of a tie.
After both candidates were briefed, at 7:33 PM they both agreed to allow the 2nd Judicial Congress to select the winner.
The Judicial Congress meets for an emergency session at 7:48 PM. Members who supported either BBLB_YT or RiceMaster_ received each a combined total of 10 minutes for debating in favor of that candidate. Soon after the debate, the members began voting at 8:16 PM. Four minutes later, the absent Jour, GodspeedAssassin failed to vote, which was at a tie. At 8:23 PM, Governor Pickyman broke the tie in favor of RiceMaster_.
At 8:27 PM, Pickyman announced the landmark decision. Ending the conflict.
Later on March 5th, absent Jour GodspeedAssassin submitted his consideration vote. He voted in favor of RiceMaster_. Excluding the Governor's vote, RiceMaster_ would have still been selected.
