Timeline of the 4th SMP

2022

April 13th - Pickyman begins working on a new form of government for the next SMP (4th).

May 14th - During the May election, the final election of the 3rd SMP, BBLB_YT, suggests a simpler government for the next SMP.

July 12th - Bbens opens an SMP world on Hypixel, which some players like RiceMaster_, BBLB_YT, and hockeyben42 play.

July 17th - A conversation sparks up about the previous SMPs, their duration, what happened, and the future of the next SMP. Because of this, hockeyben42 announces that the "4th SMP" will be run by him and launched on July 22nd. This "4th SMP" would become the unofficial 4th SMP.

July 18th - Support for this "4th SMP" to be started by hockeyben42 is low.

July 19th - The "4th SMP" run by hockeyben42 begins.

October 15th - Update 1.20 is announced

November 10th - Writing of the first draft of the constitution begins.

2023

June 7th - Trails & Tales releases.

June 9th - Plans for the fourth SMP are announced.

June 16th - The 4th SMP is formally announced, including various new plugins, set to begin June 19th. Security Council appointed.

June 19th - The 4th SMP officially begins.

June 19th- Rizztopia "declares war" against Ricelings. See main article: War Threats

June 20th - Ricelings split factions to avoid possible war, giving birth to Stir Fry.

June 21st - The Treaty of Shanghan is signed.

June 22nd - The server is shut down in the early morning as a precautionary measure to protect property, though the decision is quickly reversed.

June 23rd - The Security Council rules that using Creative to override the enchantment system is cheating.

June 26th - Searching and obtaining Netherite becomes legal.

June 26th - Not_Kingpin is temporarily banned after exploding a partial part of Brodman002's base and fully destructing his villager trading room.

June 27th - Ender Dragon is defeated.

December 2nd - The 4th SMP ends.
