The May Elections were held on May 14th, 2022, and were the third presidential election of the Asian SMP and the last. In the elections, incumbent President RiceMaster_ was running for re-election and was unopposed. RiceMaster_ was re-elected as President alongside as well as the fifth members of the Judicial Congress were elected.
Despite the electoral victories, the winners of the election were not inaugurated due to the server closing as a result of the referendum.

All 5 voting seats in the Judicial Congress were up for election; 3 seats are necessary for a majority. The winners would have served a 35-day term but the server was closed on Inauguration day because of the referendum.
Due to the massive inactivity of the SMP, an official referendum question was asked to voters, "Should the 3rd Asian SMP end?"
The 3 options were, "Yes, the server should close on May 21st. (End of RiceMaster_'s term) ", "Yes, the server should close on June 25th. (End of 5th Judicial Congress) ", and "No, the server should stay open."
Most players voted "Yes, the server should close on May 21st. (End of RiceMaster_'s term)." Authorizing the server operator to shut down the SMP due to its epic decline during the RiceMaster_ presidency.
